People defeat odds and become successful against the energies of adversity on a daily basis. And most of these people have a positive attitude as a common thread. Saying you want to be more positive, especially when it comes to your health, is easier said than done. Here are a few tips we at Odom Health & Wellness put together to help you stay positive and defy the odds!
1. Your Health Should be a Top Priority. If you’re not physically up for a challenge then you’re already facing defeat. Make sure your diet and sleeping habits are in check. If you need to work on becoming physically stronger, we can help!
2. Meditation. Go into a quiet and comfortable space. Relax your muscles. Close your eyes. Take a deep, long breath and slowly exhale. Think happy and positive thoughts. Reflect on all the great experiences and wonderful people in your life that make you happy. If you do this for only five minuets per day it will help.
3. Tell negative people “no.” If you start to notice most of your friends and coworkers use negative words to describe others, stay away. Negativity spreads and spreads easily. If you cute ties with those who don’t have anything nice to say, your mental health will benefit greatly.
