How is Odom different in providing Physical Therapy
Odom Health and Wellness looks at the patient as a whole. We start with a full history as well as functional movement examination. Most places will only treat the symptom while we get to the root cause of it. Pain is often the last thing to show and the first thing to go. If we only get rid of the pain and not fix the tightness, weakness and compensations that have developed, most people end up re-injured or with other injuries down the road. You do not need to have pain or injury in order to come to Physical Therapy. In fact Brendon Bruchard recommends all his High Performers see one regularly for optimal health and wellness.
Our team of well trained providers are all athletes as well. We understand the mentality and passion that goes behind staying moving and active. No one wants to live their life modifying activities, whether it’s not running any more because “it hurts” or “I’m just too old”, or if it’s being able to lift your kid out of the car seat. Everyone is made to move and here at Odom we look at your sleep, diet, movement and anything else that may be affecting your body’s ability to achieve what you desire.
We use multiple tools of Dry needling, spinal manipulation/mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, Myofascial release, Graston, Neuromuscular Re-education, Run/Gait analysis, FMS and SFMA, therapeutic exercises and many other resources to optimize your health and wellness in all areas of life.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email to speak with one of our providers or even schedule a free 15 min Consultation.

OHW utilizes various taping techniques to protect acute injuries, provide stability, facilitate/inhibit muscle activation, provide proprioceptive feedback, decrease bruising, swelling, and pain. Common taping techniques include Kinesiotape, Dynamic tape, Rock tape, McConnel tape, etc.
Each patient is carefully prescribed specific exercises based off their evaluation findings in order to improve their function. We use an individualized rather than cookie-cutter approach to exercise based interventions.
