Pelvic Floor
Pelvic floor health is crucial for supporting internal organs, maintaining urinary continence, and ensuring sexual function. It is particularly important during pregnancy and childbirth for women, contributing to core stability and good posture.
Our doctors of physical therapy, Gretta Adams and Caty Schultz, are our pelvic health practitioners and are currently treating women with pelvic floor dysfunction. They continue to participate in pelvic floor courses by Herman and Wallace addressing conditions of the pelvic floor in order to take their training above and beyond.

What to Expect
Treatment at Odom Health & Wellness consists of one-on-one, hour long sessions in a private room with one of our Pelvic Floor physical therapists. You and your physical therapist will review your medical history and current symptoms, followed by a thorough evaluation and assessment. This may involve evaluating posture, range of motion, pelvic alignment, flexibility, strength, pelvic stability, joint mobility, tissue tightness, and the condition of your pelvic floor muscles. An individualized plan of care will be created based on the findings so you can begin your healing journey.
