Bike Fitting

Have you ever felt pain or discomfort while riding your bike? Or felt like something just feels off? Perhaps you’ve even wondered if there are some untapped watts hidden in your bike that could help you on race day? If so, then you may want to consider getting a bike fit.

The goal of a bike fit is to pair the person and the bike to increase comfort and improve performance by addressing poor posture and faulty contact points to allow rider and bike to move seamlessly as a unit. These adjustments are dynamic, which means configurations are unique to each person given their performance goals or injury history. When proper adjustments are made, the person decreases their risk of injury and naturally gains better cycling efficiency, resulting in performance benefits. Whether you bike for fun, as a means of commuting, or in competition, bring in your bike for a professional fit so you can feel great when riding miles upon miles!

What to Expect

During the bike fitting session, we work with the bike and with you to optimize it specifically for your body.

Common bike fit adjustments include:

  • Cleat placement
  • Saddle height
  • Saddle position
  • Saddle tilt
  • Stance width
  • Handlebar height
  • Stem length

Common bike fit assessments include:

  • Bike Posture
  • Cycling Mechanics
  • Power Optimization

These assessments will aid in ensuring proper muscle recruitment during a person’s pedal stroke. A bike configured with accurate adjustments will encourage improved posture, maximize performance, and increase comfort when riding any distance amount. It is time to get more power, less pain, and regain the joy of riding out of every next pedal stroke taken.

What Bike Styles Do We Fit?

No matter the reason you ride, nearly all styles of bikes are welcome! We regularly fit road bikes, triathlon bikes, gravel bikes, and mountain bikes.
