Trent is a skilled physical therapist specializing in sports medicine and orthopedic manual therapy. Trent utilizes evidence-based treatments tailored to the specific needs of each patient to ensure optimal treatment outcomes including vertebral and peripheral joint mobilizations/manipulations and other manual therapies, dry needling, neuromuscular re-education, and exercise interventions. Trent earned his doctorate in physical therapy from University of Wisconsin in La Crosse. Trent has continued his post-doctorate education across the United States through mentorships and advanced certifications including: Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) through the Institute for Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a certification in trigger point dry needling (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars. A Minnesota native, Trent was a graduate of Minnetonka High School where he was a competitive swimmer, soccer, and ultimate frisbee player. Trent enjoys staying up to date on current research, serving as a clinical instructor for PT students, and staying active through playing ultimate, disc golf, hiking, climbing and camping.
