As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Odom Health & Wellness, Ian works alongside other clinicians. He helps aid in the patient’s healing process so that they fully recover from their injury. He uses manual therapy and progressive exercises to restore or exceed a patient’s previous level of function. He enjoys forming a personal connection with his clients to create an enjoyable and empathetic atmosphere that educates, motivates, and rehabilitates a patient to a high quality of life. He is also fluent in Spanish and passionate about providing care to all patients at all stages of life and activity levels.
Ian received his undergraduate degree in HHP: Exercise Science (Pre PT) with a Biomechanical Science and Spanish minor at Dordt University in Sioux Center, IA. During his time at Dordt, Ian competed in cross country and indoor/outdoor track. After graduation he wanted to pursue a more consistent, hands-on approach to patient care and completed a post-graduate Physical Therapist Assistant program at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN.
Ian loves athletics, baking/cooking, geography, music, outdoor activities, and basically anything that follows the ABCs of life – Adventure, Bravery, and Creativity!
