Trent is a skilled physical therapist specializing in sports medicine and orthopedic manual therapy. Trent utilizes evidence-based treatments tailored to the specific needs of each patient to ensure optimal treatment outcomes including vertebral and peripheral joint mobilizations/manipulations and other manual therapies, dry needling, neuromuscular re-education, and exercise interventions.
Trent earned his doctorate in physical therapy from University of Wisconsin in La Crosse. Trent has continued his post-doctorate education across the United States through mentorships and advanced certifications including: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) through the Institute for Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments. He is currently taking coursework in Trigger Point Dry Needling as Through Myopain Seminars and has added dry needling to his repertoire of therapeutic interventions.
A Minnesota native, Trent was a graduate of Minnetonka High School where he was a competitive swimmer, soccer, and ultimate Frisbee player. Trent enjoys staying up to date on current research, serving as a clinical instructor for PT students, and staying active through playing ultimate, frisbee golf, hiking, climbing and camping.
